Author: California State Sen. Mark Leno appeared on MSNBC yesterday to discuss the FAIR Education Act, the law he sponsored that will require California social studies courses to include LGBT history in their curricula.
The bill has passed both the House and the Senate in California, and is awaiting Gov. Jerry Brown’s signature. If you want to make sure Brown does indeed sign this groundbreaking legislation into law, sign Equality California’s petition urging him to do so.
